A world-scale LitRPG about living dungeons, guided evolution, and a champion who was supposed to be a tool — not a person.

Avarra isn’t just a world with dungeons — it’s a world made out of them. Every region is an ecosystem tuned by Mother, the planetary Dungeon System, to test, refine, and escalate threats. Adventurers aren’t just looting; they’re data points in an ongoing experiment.

Thalen is one of Mother’s most ambitious projects: a dungeonborn chimera carrying multiple bloodlines and an intrinsic link to the System that birthed him. He’s meant to be her champion, a scalpel she can send into problems too delicate for a mindless dungeon. The question is whether a being designed to adapt will accept the limits she sets.

Mother’s Dungeon Network

Avarra is laced with cores: dungeon hearts that shape their surroundings, spawn monsters, and generate challenges. Mother oversees the network, tuning difficulty and rewards to shepherd the world along pre-planned evolutionary paths.

EXPERIMENTS

Dungeonborn & Chimeras

Rather than relying on adventurers to change the world, Mother begins designing her own champions: dungeonborn entities with built-in System interfaces. Thalen is one of these — but not the only one.
